We are honored in your desire to become a part of this body of Christ here at Sand Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Please carefully complete the following membership application . It is designed to assist you assist you in presenting your faith and desire for church membership .

Becoming a member of this local body is an important step of the believer. The bible teaches that we are all members “one with the other,” because of our belief in the risen Savior Jesus Christ. This makes us a part of the body Christ and the salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. The New Testament Bible informs us that God designed for every Christian to be an accountable part of this local body of believers under church leadership.

John 4: 7-11, The love that we share towards one another is important as it relates to the love of Christ; Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. 8 He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. 9 In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. 10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
Therefore, we encourage membership as a means of personal commitment building up of the body of Christ in love.
At Sand Hill missionary Baptist Church, membership is extended to all believers who:

Supply, a written testimony of your personal faith in Jesus Christ as Savior to Pastors and Deacons.

Desire to live a life separated from sinful habits of the flesh and worldliness.

Evidence a burden for those without Jesus Christ as Savior and desire to be used to share the gospel.

Have been baptized by immersion as a believer.

One who desires to be baptized by immersion.

Commitment to each other and to God by consistently giving of one’s Time, Talents and Financial Support to the ministry of this church.
The Right Hand of Fellowship at Sand Hill Missionary Baptist Church is extended generally on the Forth Sunday of the month after completion of the new members class. The Pastor or other clergy, and official leaders of the church will extend the Right Hand of Fellowship to new disciples to signify your discipleship in the church. Then you will have rights and privileges, as determined by your discipleship status.
