WELCOME TO SHMBC: VISION OF THE PASTOR

My vision for Sand Hill Missionary Baptist Church, centers on education of God’s word and the re-establishment of God’s word as the foundation for each member of this church through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. This vision is extended to those who become members, and to those who attend our services on a regular basis, with hope through the application of God’s word, to act as a guide to lead through trials and tribulations in these perilous times.

To adorn Christ through transparency of our lives by the living hope given to us though His death burial and resurrection to guide us in our actions, our thoughts and our speech, to follow after Paul to the Ephesians 4:15-16

but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ, from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.

Closing Message

Our theme for next year is “Growing Into One Body in Christ,” I am convinced through the revelation of God’s word of this visIon to grow into one body in Christ. It is apart of the larger plan that God has for Sand Hill Missionary Baptist church to first, growing within this church as one body in Christ, to become that extended arm through Evangelism, that reaches into

all areas of our community. As we move forward it will be incumbent of each member to play a committed role to the extended part of this vision, through your financial support by tithing, inviting others to be apart of our worship service, and

to become a church for those who seek refuge from the storms of life. Those in despair, those suffering hurt, pain, Isolation, rejection, drought, doubts, discouragement and hopelessness.

Sand Hill Missionary Baptist Church can be the beacon that shines light in dark places; play an integral part in restoring lives, taking the church to the unchurched in our community and by coming to know Jesus Christ as our Living Hope.
